CSA families receive the “fruits of our labor”. We take pride in growing a variety of seasonal and nutritional crops. Many of the crops grown are commonly known and used foods, but we also strive to introduce CSA families to some less familiar foods. As part of our CSA, we provide recipes to help with simple meal planning, and offer culinary usages to encourage families to incorporate new foods into their diets.
As with any CSA, shares are based upon seasonal crops picked at the peak of their ripeness. Although quantity will vary based upon what is ready to be harvested, each share will include on average 8-10 different kinds of farm-fresh produce.
Despite our best farming efforts, there are risks with farming. By joining our CSA, you are agreeing to share the rewards of crop successes and the risk of crop failures. Please take this into consideration when joining any CSA.
